Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Portal Jobs. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3. Acceptable Use

• You may not post fraudulent, misleading, or illegal job listings
• You may not scrape, data-mine, or reverse engineer the platform
• You may not harass, discriminate against, or exploit other users
• You may not impersonate another individual or entity
• You may not use the platform for any purpose other than legitimate recruitment or job search

4. Credits & Payments

Employers purchase credits to perform certain actions (unlocking candidate profiles, posting jobs, initiating AI interviews). Credits are non-transferable and expire 12 months from the date of purchase. Payments are processed through Razorpay.

5. AI Services

Our platform uses AI for profile building, job matching, and voice interviews. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated outputs (scores, summaries, matches) are advisory and should not be the sole basis for hiring decisions. Employers remain responsible for their own hiring practices and compliance with applicable employment laws.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and technology on the Portal Jobs platform is the property of Portal Jobs AI Pvt. Ltd. and is protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you submit but grant us a license to use it for platform operations.

7. Limitation of Liability

Portal Jobs is a platform connecting employers and job seekers. We do not guarantee employment or the quality of candidates or employers. We are not liable for any damages arising from interactions between users, hiring decisions, or AI assessments.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, unused credits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in our Refund Policy.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.
